Utah Transit Authority adds a 77-square-mile zone
The Utah Transit Authority, in partnership with the Utah Department of Transportation and Utah County, has added a new North Utah County zone to its UTA On Demand service. The zone covers 77 square miles and provides access to the Lehi Primary Children’s Hospital and the Eagle Mountain Senior Center.
Sixteen vans will operate in the new zone, eight of which are wheelchair accessible. The scale of the zone is notable: at 77 square miles, it is roughly the size of the London Borough of Hillingdon.
